The Island of Sal is an island of Cape Verde.
Recently very few specimens of some so far unknown tokens of the Island of Sal showed up. They were issued by the former French owners of the salt production enterprise on the Island of Sal. There are 3 different denominations, one of them in 2 metals and the tokens were accepted for payment on the whole Island of Sal.
Does anyone know anymore about the pieces.
Has anyone ever seen them offered ?
