Hi all,
OK. My reasons for classifying my coin as barbarous are:
STYLISTICALLY
1) The styling of the helmet border, with hair all along the border and no trace of an ear (despite the hair) is completely different to official issues
2) The lettering on both obverse and reverse is mismatched and mis-spelt.
3) The wolf is shown with only one leg
4) The stars are completely unlike those encountered on official coins; they are effectively globes
5) The left-hand twin on coins from Siscia usually wears a cloak
6) The posture of the wolf with the head pointing down and slightly forward is not the same as on official coins from Siscia
OTHER REASONS
7) The coin is a mule

The weight (1.48g) is very light for an official coin
To illustrate what I mean I attach an official coin for comparison. Not mine unfortunately

but one I saw on ebay.
By the way, Lex, why do you say the official specimen of dabber's coin is rare? Official Constantinopolis coins from Siscia are coming onto the market in huge numbers from the Balkans.
Regards,
Adrianus
